Pumpkin Soup

Ingredients

1. 2 cup pumpkin
2. One tsp low fat butter
3. 1/4 cup finally chopped onion
4. Salt and black pepper to taste
5. One tsp dried oregano
6. Half tsp cinnamon

Directions

1. Heat the butter in a deep non stick pan ,add the onion and sauté on a medium flame for a minute.
2. Add the pumpkin and on a medium flame for 10 minute, while stirring occasionally.
3. Add 3 cup of hot water, salt and pepper and mix well.
4. Cover with a lid and cook on a medium flame for 10 minutes .remove from the flame and keep aside to cool completely.
5. Once cooled, blend in a mixer till smooth .add oregano and mix well.
6. Again cook on medium flame till it comes to boil. Sprinkle cinnamon powder
7. Serve it immediately
