1. Pumpkin, 200gm (green pumpkin)
2. Oil, ½ tbsp
3. Asafoetida, 1 pinch
4. Fenugreek seeds, 1 Tsp
5. Green chilly finely chopped, 1
6.Ginger finely chopped or grated, 1-inch long piece
7. Turmeric powder, 1/4 tsp
8. Coriander powder, 1 Tsp
9. Salt as per taste


1. Remove seeds and marrow from the pumpkin and cut into big pieces to wash thoroughly.
2. Add some oil in a pan for heat. Add asafoetida and fenugreek seeds into it.
3. After sautéing fenugreek seeds, add green chilly, ginger, turmeric powder, coriander powder.
4. Stir the masala with help of a spoon. Now add pumpkin and salt.
